Betsy Wild is a Sarasota-based artist with a deep passion for sculpture. Her artistic journey began in childhood, leading her to study at the Ringling College of Design and the Art Center College of Design, where she earned her BFA in Illustration. Betsy’s professional path included a successful career as a Creative Director in fashion apparel, working with renowned brands like Disney and Universal Studios. Despite her achievements in the commercial art world, her love for sculpture and ceramics remained a constant, with her works gaining recognition at art festivals across Florida.

After starting a family, Betsy founded We Craft Box, an award-winning kids' craft subscription business, which combined her entrepreneurial spirit with her dedication to creative family time. Now, Betsy is returning to her roots, focusing on her ceramic sculpture and building a presence in the gallery world. Her work delves into animal allegories to explore human emotions and relationships, inviting viewers to reflect on their own narratives. Betsy’s art captures the delicate interplay of emotions, highlighting the perpetual search for balance in life.
